| This incident was a great example of the mutual aid system working exactly as intended. Hopkins Fire Department arrived first due and initiated fire attack, while Bunn Fire Department established rural water supply/drafting operations. Rolesville Fire Department and Wake Forest Fire Department provided additional personnel and support to assist with fire suppression, water supply, and overhaul operations.
Franklin County EMS and Franklin County Emergency Management were also on scene, providing critical support and resources throughout the incident.
Through coordinated teamwork, communication, and a shared commitment to the mission, crews were able to successfully extinguish the fire. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
